At Mama Children’s Village, we believe that a child’s growth goes beyond the classroom — it thrives in play, teamwork, and community. In line with this belief, we recently supported the children of St. Theresa Buwate Primary School by donating netball kits to help them participate in the Wakiso Primary Schools Sports Activities.
The donation aimed to encourage inclusive participation in sports, especially for girls, and to nurture the values of confidence, teamwork, and discipline that come from active play. For many of the children, this marked their first opportunity to play in a properly equipped team — an experience that filled the school grounds with excitement and pride.
“Sports are not just about competition — they are a tool for empowerment, belonging, and building life skills that every child needs.”
Through initiatives like this, Mama Children’s Village continues to promote holistic child development — ensuring that children not only learn, but also laugh, play, and grow in environments that celebrate their potential.
